I began my career in 1998 as a tour executive in Kathmandu — designing itineraries, negotiating with hotels, airlines, guides and suppliers, welcoming clients at the airport, hosting briefings and farewell dinners, and building the kind of on-the-ground knowledge that only comes from doing the work. In the years since I have designed programs for some of the world's leading travel brands — SITA World Tours, TUI, Kuoni and SAGA Holidays among them. Nepal and Bhutan are not destinations I sell — they are a world I have spent a career curating.

I also founded two Nepal-based travel businesses — E-tour Channel (2008) and Nepal Adventure Trail (2022) — with professional guide teams on the ground today. In parallel I spent fifteen years on IT business-analyst consulting engagements — with Travelport, American Airlines and American Express Global Business Travel in travel and aviation, and with Northern Trust and Starr Insurance in banking and insurance. I saw at close range what the industry did badly: travelers waiting days for a quote, agents searching fragmented supplier inventories by hand, and no single place where the whole shape of a journey was held.
