Kathmandu Preparation

Final equipment check and permit processing. Visit the Nepal Mountaineering Association. Afternoon visit to Boudhanath Stupa for a blessing ceremony.

Fly to Lukla, Trek to Phakding

Scenic morning flight to Lukla (2,840m). Begin trek through pine forests along the Dudh Kosi river to Phakding.

Trek to Island Peak Base Camp

Trek to Island Peak Base Camp through moraine terrain. Set up camp with panoramic views of Baruntse, Makalu, and Lhotse.

Move to High Camp

Ascend to High Camp on the moraine ridge. Rest and prepare for the summit push. Early dinner and briefing.

Summit Day

Depart at 1-2 AM. Climb the headwall using fixed ropes and ascend the summit ridge to the top of Island Peak (6,189m). Panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Baruntse. Descend to Base Camp.

Trek to Tengboche

Descend through Dingboche and Pangboche back to Tengboche. Celebrate with the team at the monastery.
