Fly to Pokhara, Fly to Jomsom

Early morning flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara, connect to the dramatic mountain flight to Jomsom following the Kali Gandaki gorge. Arrive in Jomsom and stroll through the windy town. Afternoon exploration of the apple orchards and Thakali culture.

Trek to Kagbeni

Easy walk along the Kali Gandaki riverbed to the medieval village of Kagbeni — the gateway to Upper Mustang. Explore the ancient Kag Chode Thupten Samphel Ling monastery and wander the narrow alleys of this atmospheric village. Upper Mustang restricted area checkpoint ahead.

Trek to Chele

Enter the restricted zone. Follow the Kali Gandaki north through increasingly dramatic terrain. Cross the river multiple times on a trail carved into colorful stratified rock. Trek to Syangboche

Trek to Ghami
